Not only do these guys have adorable wardrobes and the cutest faces, they also know how to pose! Check out the baby’s pose in the first portrait- I laughed out loud when he started doing that all by himself. And big sister’s gorgeous smile and fun personality made for a great session. I’m already looking forward to their next session in the summer! Thanks for being so fun, F. family! NY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby Photography    NY Family and Baby Photography NY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby PhotographyNY Family and Baby Photography NY Family and Baby Photography

…a baby plan graduate that is! I met E.’s parents a little over a year ago when I photographed some beautiful maternity portraits for them. And then soon after that session I got to photograph tiny little E.’s newborn portraits and then her six and twelve month portraits. It was a pleasure working with this sweet family and I hope I get to photograph E. when she’s a little bigger too! Here are some of their portraits from the past year.

Happy Birthday to adorable E., who just graduated the RSP baby club! I fell in love with her at her first session when she was a tiny two month old, and from then on I always looked forward to our sessions. She just kept getting cuter and cuter. At her final baby plan session we did a cake smash and it was hilarious to watch- she dug in and literally was flinging cake everywhere with this humongous grin on her face…

Although I have the patience to get happy expressions from even the hardest child, I didn’t need to work hard with this adorable three year old. We hit it off right away and his totally sweet and cheerful personality made my job really easy. Mom specifically wanted clean, classic, uncluttered portraits so thats the look we went for in the session. The focus goes directly to adorable E.

Since there were so many cute shots I made this little video of our session 🙂  Hope it makes you smile!

It’s that time of year again, when lots of turning  three-year-olds come to my studio for a super fun portrait session! ( I wouldn’t be surprised if, after the session, they ask their parents “can we go back to that crazy lady again? You know, the one who danced around with a puppet on her head roaring like a  lion”?)  This beautiful family chose to do a mini session before the haircut and a full family session afterwards, and I just love all the happy, natural shots we got.

Have an upsherin coming up? Call the studio at 917-750-3424 to discuss the portrait experience we can create for your little guy!

I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest family recently. Adorable R. is having his upsherin soon and while the focus was mostly on him, we also did some family portraits. You can just feel the love radiating from their portraits.

I always love when the parents join in the session.  Although many times our inclination as moms (and dads too) is to shy away from being in photos, its just really special to have a beautiful family portrait that stops time and captures your family as you are right now…Some people say, oh but then what happens when the family grows and changes? And that, I feel, is precisely the reason TO do family portraits right now. Because your family will never be the same as you are right now! Time passes and you lose the opportunity to capture the now.

The E. family ordered a beautiful wall display featuring a big family portrait in middle and then two smaller ones on the sides of R. with his mom and R. with his dad… and I’m sure they will feel happy every time they walk into the room and see it hanging there.

It’s all pink, all the time in this family consisting of two close-in-age sisters  and adorable baby girl twins! Mom has her hands full now but later in life these girls will consider themselves lucky to have each other… there is nothing like a sister. They were incredibly cooperative at their portrait session, especially considering they are so little- and there are four of them.  🙂 Here are some of my favorites.

Once upon a time there was a three year old boy with a head of beautiful red curls, a deep dimple in each cheek, and the type of personality one would assume goes along with all that. One day, he and his mom went to Rina Schiffman Photography to get some portraits taken before his Upsherin. Rina, a sucker for redheads and with a love for all kids in general, had a blast being wacky and eliciting giggles and smiles and many different expressions from the little boy. She thinks the adorable boy had fun as well.  When the time came to post some sneak peek images on her blog, Rina had a really tough time not posting the entire session. After finally narrowing it down to a few pictures, she perfected them and posted them on her blog.

Rina really loves her job, and wishes the W. family mazel tov and much nachas!

The end         🙂

As soon as this little guy walked into the studio and said hello to me, I knew we were going to have a great session. He is one of the smartest and articulate upsherin boys I’ve photographed – and the first one to ask me about my white balance! (his father enjoys photography) He was so cooperative and you can tell by looking at him that he has a heart of gold. Total sweet heart!

Here are just a couple of his upsherin portraits that I love… Mazal Tov I. family! Upsherin Photographer NY Upsherin Photographer NY Upsherin Photographer NY Upsherin Photographer NY Upsherin Photographer NY
